ISABELLA ARAQUE
ACTOR | SINGER | REFUGEE
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where I learned resilience, love, and patience in the face of a broken yet beautiful country. I found my voice in storytelling, using art as a tool to express and reflect.
I moved to the United States (Currently based in NYC) in search of a better life and new opportunities. Becoming an immigrant has deepened my mission to amplify underrepresented voices, whether through performing, writing, or producing. My work is rooted in sharing stories that resonate with my own journey (as it's the journey of many others as well) and highlight the richness of diversity
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) actor, playwright, and intimacy coordinator in training. I take pride in being a versatile and collaborative artist—whether I’m on stage, behind the scenes, or supporting a production in any capacity, I’m committed to contributing meaningfully.
I’m passionate about making theater an inclusive and safe space. I aim to build bridges and tell stories that truly matter.
Outside the theater, you'll find me exploring the Upper West Side, fostering (and occasionally crying over) adorable dogs, diving into a book or making cocktails for my friends!
